1. The firearm owners and firearms referred to in the Public Agents Firearms Regulations (SOR/98-203) are exempt from the application of the Firearms Registration Act (chapter I-0.01).
Firearms referred to in subsection 84(3) of the Criminal Code (R.S.C. 1985, c. C-46) are also exempt from the application of the Act.
